Nicholas Redding was born in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Arezzo, Italy in 2015. There he studied Physical Theatre at the Accademia Dell’Arte and obtained his Master in the Fine Art of Physical Theatre in 2018. Since then he has worked professionally as an actor and creative artist throughout Italy. He has been a frequent collaborater with Broken Jump, a site-specific theatre company, since their founding in 2016. Since 2021, he has performed in 5 performances produced by Tom Corradini Teatro: Brexit, Virginie, Mister Jackpot, Caligola, and Hamlet:Prince of Sweden. He has performed in two major roles with Compagnie Imagi-Nation, a company directed by Ian Magilton that present work from the classical canon reimagined through the lens of Roy Hart Theatre. While a student, he collaborated with Familie Floez, Continuo Divadlo, and FLIC Scuola di Circo. He has also performed in Milan with La Dual Band and J. Productions.

He plays Count Ludovico in the medieval sitcom, La Locanda, produced by Devil May Care Films. He also had a starring role in the short western film, What Lasts.

Since 2023 he has been represented by Ivan Bruffa and has been seen in commercials for Sperlari & Paluani, La Settimana Enigmistica, Visa, Iliad, and Maalox.
