There's a theatre in my neighborhood called Campo Teatrale, and years ago I saw an incredible show there. It was a sublime mix of mythology, current events, physicality, and great acting--it remains one of the best shows I've seen in Milan. Moreover, it helped me fall in love with Milan, what is now my adoptive city, in a moment when all I wanted to do was move into the countryside and abandon society. And so it was with a glad, swelling heart that last weekend I performed at Campo Teatrale for the first time in a wildly ambitious project. I had the joy and honor of playing the arch-villain in the surreal dystopian world we created together.
